What's the Tsunami Algorithm? ๐
So the new PoolTogether is here, but what is it all about? This week we'll start with the Tsunami Algorithm. It's one of the core concepts of the new PoolTogether. Why Tsunami? Because it literally releases a wave of prizes.
It's a statistical algorithm in the PoolTogether protocol, which makes an infinite number of prizes in different prize tiers possible.
Instead of explicitly selecting a winner, the protocol now creates a randomly generated sequence of winning numbers. Each user gets allocated a certain number of picks based on their deposit balance. Those picks each correspond to a random number, which is pseudo-randomly generated using the user's wallet address and the pick index. The picks are then compared to the winning numbers, and the prize payout is determined by the matching amount.

How to get USDC on Polygon network ๐ธ
One of the biggest hurdles in crypto is sometimes to get your hard earned money into the projects you love. Things like bridging your funds can be expensive and over-complicated. One of PoolTogether's great new features is that you can use cheap L2 solutions to save on gas fees.
To make it as easy as possible for you we curated some services that allow you to withdraw USDC straight to Polygon network without any bridging.

Moonpay is a fiat onramp which allows you to purchase USDC via credit card or bank transfer straight to your Polygon wallet address. No centralized exchange involved.
