no matter where in the world you are, I’ve got some love for you if you’re reading this. 💕 We’ve got a packed newsletter this week, so let’s jump right in.

PT Inc Development Update 👷🗞

The team of PoolTogether Inc keeps working hard on new contributions to the protocol. Brendan has summarised their work to keep us all in the loop what happens around the PT Inc side of pool. Read the full post on the governance forum.

Estimated Average APR added 📈

Part of those contributions are the ongoing updates to the PoolTogether App. The Estimated Prize APR is the latest addition to the UI. Have a look for yourself. 👀

So far most of the information around the PoolTogether DAO was living on Discord. dao.pooltogether.com helps to make this different.

On there you find an overview about PoolTogether in general, how to contribute to the DAO, see what’s going on in our calendar, understand governance or see who’s active in the different parts of our DAO.

DAO Happiness Survey Results 🫂

The report of our first ever DAO Happiness Survey is now available on the governance forum. Thanks to all participants, readers & poolers for helping to improve our DAO and therefor the experience of our contributors.

Valentines Day NFTs 💕

PoolTogether’s Cupid asked you to spread some love and oh sweet cheeses, a ton of love has been spread. A total of 4882 NFTs have been claimed on Galaxy.

The winners will be drawn live on the PoolTogether Discord at 5:15 pm GM / 12:15 pm EST today. Keep an eye on Twitter and Discord for more of where that came from. 👀

PoolStreaks Season 1

The inaugural season of Pool Streaks has come to a captivating end. Our first winner is a long-time community member: neken.eth!

neken.eth has been there from the game’s opening; draw 98. That particular question proved to be a bit of a learning experience, bringing the whole leaderboard back to zero. neken.eth's winning streak didn't start until draw 112, but we had some close calls until then.

Starting at our second question, treebeard got off to a hot start with three in a row showing some early signs of strength. Unfortunately draw 102 proved to be their downfall and it was only until draw 115 was treebeard able to recapture a streak of that size - a bit too late.

After missing out on the first six questions, a new player emerged, TeDex. TeDex would go on to miss two in a row, then seemingly take a break as if to ponder their future here at Pool Streaks. After five more vacancies, TeDex returned to build the only streak that would give neken.eth a run for their 'delegated' money. Both neken.eth and TeDex put together a streak of four starting at Draw 112.

After reaching 4 in a row, both neken.eth and TeDex were awarded the all-mighty 'Free Life', allowing them to get one question wrong and keep their streak alive (this was later also accomplished by the likes of Kote, Lonser, and adminaiden.crypto).

Then, at Draw 116 we saw TeDex revert to their old ways of the Mysterious Hiatus as they opted out of participating in the next two draws. This would ultimately allow neken.eth a lonely but glorious hallway to the winner's circle as long as they didn't miss more than one of the next three answered questions... Which they did not!

Not only did they get draw 115 question correct, but they also hit draw 116 question which was worth 2 points. A gutsy play which proved to be one of the greatest game winning moves in the history of Pool Streaks. Congrats to neken.eth on your week-long delegation! Can't wait to see what you win!
