As a global protocol we stand together against war.

Initially the PoolTogether community had planned to celebrate the 1st anniversary of our POOL token and DAO last week. Instead we spent our Community Call collectively brainstorming about what we as a protocol, DAO, and its people can do. The Hackathon turned Community Call ended with an up & running website for No Loss Donations.

Run a Snowflake Bridge to fight Internet-Censorship in Ukraine & Russia ❄️

Snowflake is a system to defeat internet censorship. People who are censored can use Snowflake to access the internet. Their connection goes through Snowflake proxies, which are run by volunteers.

It’s super easy - the only thing you need to do is install a browser extension. After installing you’re even able to see how many people you’ve enabled access to uncensored internet.

Pool Stories 📜

The discussion around crypto is usually technical and driven by numbers. This can miss the most important part — how normal people’s lives are being improved.

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the POOL token, community members submitted hundreds of stories sharing how they’ve been impacted. You can read a few of them in the Medium article behind this link.

Now more than one year ago today the POOL token was initially distributed. This was the start of decentralizing control over the PoolTogether protocol and the birth of the PoolTogether DAO. Governance Forum Update

Governance keeps being busy and a few discussions were formalized into PTIPs (PoolTogether Improvement Proposals) within the last week. Make sure to keep an eye out on the forum and don’t be shy to voice your thoughts or ask questions! Here’s a quick overview about the recent updates:

PTIP-56: V3 Transitions

proposed by Leighton

PTIP-56 aims to optimize parameters on the V3 pools for the transition to V4 with a two phase approach. Phase one stops new deposits and minimizes operations. Phase two leaves continued pool operations up to the community.

PTIP-57: Delegate Voting Power of C4 $ARENA Tokens to Brendan

proposed by Brendan

This proposal will direct the Executive Team to delegate the voting power of the recently airdropped $ARENA tokens on Polygon to Brendan.

PTIP-58 Exec-Team Add drcpu & Clarify Compensation

proposed by underthesea

PTIP-58 will add drcpu as member to the Execution Team, correct the total POOL funding and clarify the compensation of the team.

PTIP-59 EPNS Partnership & Exec Team Mandate

proposed by Tjark

EPNS has reached out to us to integrate PoolTogether prize notifications into their App. This proposal will confirm the Partnership with EPNS and appoint a mandate to manage the notification channel and it’s delegates to the Executive Team.

Boardroom Update
